We build a low-code real-time decisioning platform that helps craft and run complex decision strategies based on ever-changing business requirements, massive amounts of heterogeneous data, and self-learning AI. The platform allows companies to anticipate customer needs, predict their behaviour and ultimately improve their satisfaction. Our mission is to make this complex area so easy that our clients no longer need to have software engineering or data science degrees. We're looking for a passionate Software Quality Engineer who loves solving complex problems. By joining our team, you will help us build and optimize the services that back up our self-learning AI and next-best-action technology serving thousands of real-time decisions per second.
• Work as a part of a cross-functional team to build a platform used by thousands of companies.
• Have ownership of end-to-end release testing (planning, estimation and risk analysis)
• Test Case Designing and implementing new features adhering to the best practices.
• Bring in new testing practices in-line with ATDD, BDD & TDD
• Agile testing (Automation/Manual Testing / Exploratory / Unit)
• Participate in code reviews and bring in a quality perspective
• Actively participate in all Sprint meetings such as Grooming, Planning, Review and Retrospectives etc., mainly understand how the current feature is supposed to be used
• Participate or introduce potential new ideas & testing solutions
• Partner with Global Customer Support and Service Reliability teams to troubleshoot and address customer issues
• Learn and grow as a professional, experiment, innovate and have fun
• Observe results of your work deployed for more than three thousand customers on cloud
The Software Quality Engineer will contribute to the development test and/or maintenance of the product. The individual will participate in the testing process through test review and analysis. You will translate requirements into detailed test designs and implementation using API automation, Pega Automation framework and other Automation tools. You will work closely with Engineering Team during the project test and deployment process. Candidates must have a strong technical background and be prepared and ready to learn and explore Pegasystems technology. You are able to think independently but also value teamwork and collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar degree is required.
• 2 - 4 years of testing experience preferably in a product development company
• Have performance and quality driven mind-set: Service Level Indicators, BDD, Contract tests
• Strong knowledge of Core Java fundamentals
• API testing – Know how to test a cloud application (Performance, Scalability, Reliability)
• Data Structures, Algorithms and Design Patterns are applied
• Good Communication skills
• Agile and has an open mindset to work in a R&D environment
• Having Machine Learning and DevOps knowledge will be an added advantage
