R&D Laboratory Test Engineer

We are looking for R&D LABORATORY TEST ENGINEER to our Nagykanizsa factory.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL CONTRIBUTE TO:

• Creating test plans for new product development (NPD) and continuation engineering projects
• Defining resources, tools, and timelines for testing processes
• Developing and executing component-, subsystem-, and machine-level validation tests in collaboration with engineers
• Developing new test methods for faster testing and better real-world condition modeling
• Analyzing failures and developing improvement proposals based on test results
• Summarizing, analyzing, and reporting test results to project teams
• Designing test rigs and preparing manufacturing specifications
• Supervising the assembly and installation of test rigs
• Collaborating with engineers to resolve manufacturing issues
• Coordinating activities and providing guidance to stakeholders
• Approximately 5-10 travel days per year

We value if you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably in mechatronics or electrical engineering)
• 3-5 years of experience in a test laboratory or manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics and drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Proactive and analytical mindset
• Experience with laboratory tools and measuring instruments (e.g., hand tools, multimeters, sensors, data acquisition devices, PLC controllers)
• Conversational-level English skills

Nice-to-have skills:

• Intermediate English proficiency
• Experience in product testing, validation, and development
• Knowledge of PLC systems and microcontrollers
• Understanding of pneumatic systems
• Familiarity with programming in LabVIEW, Python and C
• Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., Creo) and 3D printing
• Knowledge of quality assurance tools
