Responsibilities

Who are you?

 

As an SDET II you are capable to perform testing and quality assurance in the Product Delivery Team. They will be responsible for creating and implementing test automation scripts to ensure quality and expected functionality and report issues observed.

 

In this role you will wear many hats, but your knowledge will be essential in the following:  

  • Write and Implement Automation tests independently

  • Create Bug Tickets with a detailed description of the issue

  • Validate story acceptance criteria

  • Review MR requests

  • Participation in sprint grooming, planning, and kick-off to help estimate stories, raise awareness, and additional testing details

  • Has a solid understanding of existing system design, architecture, and business logic

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What you bring to the Personify Health team:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Management Information Systems, or equivalent technology experience.

  • 2+ years of SDET/CI/CD/Automation experience

  • Strong communication skills, openness to collaborate, and enthusiasm to deliver as a part of a team

  • Solid understanding of the full SDLC

  • A passion and drive for learning technologies and applying them pragmatically 

  • An ability to contribute to a technical discussion and the openness to listen and learn from your peers 

You also take pride in offering the following Core Skills, Competencies, and Characteristics:

  • Gitlab

  • Experience using automation testing tools and techniques.  

  • Experience with formal testing processes.

  • Test case and test scenario writing; both manual and automation.

  • Experience working with scripting languages and APIs

  • Knowledge of services, web technologies and n-tier browser-based applications.

  • Experience with and thorough understanding of formal defect management processes.

  • Ability to work well with other teams to resolve issues and defects.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Show an ability to learn and solve issues in a timely manner – currently using TestNG, Selenium, Kotlin, Java, and JavaScript for test development.

  • Experience with automated testing for native mobile applications (iOS, Android) utilizing testing frameworks like: XCUITest, Espresso, Appium

In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $76,000 to $95,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for 10% target bonus/variable compensation as well as health, dental, vision, mental health and other benefits.
