Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled SDET with 5+ years of experience in Java-based test automation to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality automated testing solutions while adhering to industry best practices. The role involves working closely with development and QA teams to ensure robust automation frameworks and processes are in place.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Create and execute automated test cases for Web UI, APIs, and non-functional testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to define testing strategies, ensuring high-quality releases.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents and provide remediation plans.
- Optimize test strategies, processes, and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical training to team members.
- Research and evaluate new tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance test automation.
- Participate in proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives for new technologies and vendor solutions.
- Ensure compliance with software quality standards through code reviews and testing.
- Coordinate offshore teams and oversee their daily testing activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Software Development and Test Automation.
- Strong expertise in Java-based test automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Cucumber, Web UI Test Automation Tools, Web Services/API Test Automation.
- Proficiency in BDD frameworks and Test Automation Framework Architecture.
- Experience setting up test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Deep understanding of Software Engineering concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD).
- Knowledge of Apache Kafka, REST API, PostgreSQL, and Spring Boot.
- Financial services sector experience is a plus.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
