Overview
The SDET Lead plays a critical role in our organization by leading the software development engineering team in creating automated test cases for our software products. This position is instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software through test automation and continuous improvement of testing processes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SDETs to develop and maintain automated test suites for various software products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, plan, and execute test strategies and test plans.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to support continuous testing.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices for test automation and software development are followed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
- Coordinate with product management and development teams to prioritize testing activities based on project needs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide input on sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release activities.
- Monitor and analyze test results to ensure the stability and performance of software products.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and tools in test automation and incorporate them into the testing process.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the SDET team, resolving technical challenges and ensuring the delivery of high-quality test automation.
