What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Build and maintain robust test plans for new and existing features, ensuring comprehensive coverage and accuracy
- Create, execute, and maintain API tests (manual and automated) for our backend services
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives and ensure seamless integration across multi-team projects
- Utilize test management tools to efficiently organize, manage, and track testing activities and results
- Lead cross-team testing efforts for complex, multi-faceted projects, ensuring alignment and timely delivery
- Juggle multiple projects while effectively prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Work alongside QA Engineers and development teams to define, implement, and continuously refine QA standards and best practices
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose innovative solutions to enhance product quality and development workflows
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in manual testing and a strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices
- Hands-on experience in automated testing and the ability to write and maintain reliable test scripts
- Expertise in testing backend services, particularly RESTful APIs, using tools like Postman or similar platforms
- Strong skills in creating detailed test cases and developing test plans using tools like Xray or other test management systems
- Familiarity with task management tools such as Jira for effective collaboration and project tracking
- Experience with log aggregation services like Grafana and Loki for monitoring and troubleshooting
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Strong time management and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities with ease
Bonus Points If You Have:
- ISTQB certification or other relevant QA certifications
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka)
- Experience writing and optimizing database queries
- Working knowledge of programming languages like Golang, Erlang, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies
