Senior QA Automation Engineer

Description
Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.



Responsibilities

Total 6+ Years of IT industry experience in systems engineering

Hands on experience of system testing with Linux environment
Hands on experience working on Maven.
Experience with Version control tools- GIT
Experience with configuration management tools - ansible/chef/puppet.
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure(OCI) would be an added advantage.
Experience with Selenium, TestNG and Cucumber in building web automation
Experience with API automation using Rest Assured.
Excellent in OOPs and design patterns.
Good Understanding of Automation run in CI/CD pipeline is desirable.
Strong team player, self motivated and have ability to work with teams in various time zones.
Strong Analytical, Problem solving and Debugging skills required.
Strong QA concepts including testcase development, test execution, test report sharing, Defect filing, following up with developers to close critical items.
Experience in working with Distributed teams following Agile process with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Experience with Tools like Jira.
Sound knowledge on SQL queries.
Participates in reviews of automated and manual tests and has the drive to enhance automation coverage thereby minimizing manual testing.
