We are looking for a motivated and responsible Senior QA Automation Engineer.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in software testing (both automation and manual);
Strong experience in test automation for frontend and backend applications;
Solid knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, PyTest);
Experience testing web applications built with React and APIs/backend services using Python;
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests within them;
Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger, or similar);
Proven experience in manual testing, including exploratory testing and usability assessments;
Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Allure);
Experience testing integrations with external systems, ensuring their reliability and security;
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, databases, and backend logic;
Familiarity with agile development methodologies;
Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation and backend testing;
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team.
Nice to have:
Experience with performance and load testing;
Familiarity with cloud environments and testing applications in cloud-based systems;
Knowledge of security best practices for testing, especially for high-load and sensitive systems.
Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining automated test suites for web applications (frontend and backend);
Performing manual testing as needed to ensure quality coverage for edge cases and complex scenarios;
Testing web applications across multiple platforms, including desktop and mobile devices, ensuring responsiveness and compatibility.
Creating test plans, test cases, and detailed test reports for the application, ensuring high-quality deliverables;
Collaborating with development teams to integrate testing processes early in the development lifecycle (shift-left testing approach);
Identifying and documenting bugs, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
