We are looking for a QA Engineer based in Latin America to work on a long-term project for one of our clients, a video game holding company based in California.
Our client creates the most epic interactive gaming and entertainment experiences on earth immersing players in new, unimagined worlds. Their products help build community and create social platforms that bring people together.
Responsibilities
- Design and write end-to-end automated tests for all new features, as well as for the functionality that already exists.
- Maintain, automate, and develop the existing test suite across the project.
- Design test cases for newly introduced, backlogged, or previously overlooked features.
- Author, Maintain, and Design test automation using existing frameworks provided by SDETs.
- Conduct regression testing and maintain the suite of automated tests.
- Troubleshooting activities (debugging and analysis issues found during execution).
- Manage TestRail integration to enable Test Analysts to initiate automated tests.
- Oversee Test Data Management to ensure availability and integrity of test data.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Make sure that proper standards are followed and appropriate fields are filled when creating bugs/tasks.
- Work closely with the product team, stakeholders, and users from the preliminary planning through to having a holistic view to plan and deliver new features.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
- Actively participate in meetings including Scrum meetings.
Requirements
- Advanced Level of English.
- 6+ years of experience within a QA or similar role with a focus on engineering or automation.
- Experience working 50% manual testing practices and 50% automation testing.
- Experience working with test data scaling, parameterization, and optimization.
- Experience writing scripts to optimize manual workflows.
- Solid understanding of acceptance, functional, regression, exploratory and integration testing.
- Experience with API Testing and API Automation (Postman, JUnit, TestNG, Rest Assured SoapUI, JSON-RPC).
- Experience with Web Testing and Web Automation (Playwright framework).
- Experience working with any two of these programming languages: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#.

- Bachelorβs Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
