For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, remotely from the United States.

In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing the company’s software quality practices, focusing on test automation and collaboration with various teams. You will contribute to the design and implementation of automated testing strategies for API and UI testing, and help ensure that both functional and non-functional tests are comprehensive and reliable. Additionally, you'll be working closely with developers, security experts, and product teams to build, optimize, and deliver high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment. Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement automated tests for both frontend (UI) and backend (API) functionalities.
• Work with the development team to provide proactive feedback on design and testability to ensure software meets high-quality standards.
• Contribute to non-functional testing, such as performance and security, and ensure the team receives actionable feedback quickly.
• Identify, document, and manage issues through tools like Jira, ensuring effective resolutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement of test automation practices and collaborate across teams to optimize quality assurance processes.

• Strong experience in automated testing, particularly in API and UI tests.
• Expertise in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript, with hands-on experience in modern programming and test automation tools.
• A solid understanding of full-stack testing and development, with familiarity in setting up test execution and reporting within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with modern testing frameworks and methodologies such as Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, security experts, and product managers.

• Strong experience in automated testing, particularly in API and UI tests.
