About the Role
We are looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to ensure the quality and reliability of our platform through automation, innovation, and expertise. As an SSDET at Nutrislice, you’ll play a critical role in defining and maintaining a high standard of quality for our software.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing or software development roles, with a focus on test automation.
- Strong programming skills in a modern language (e.g. Python or JavaScript).
- Proven experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Playwright).
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the development process.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with Generative AI automation tools
- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter or Gatling).
- Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Understanding of accessibility testing tools and practices.
- Knowledge of backend development frameworks such as Python/Django or Node.js.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites to ensure product quality across web, mobile, and backend systems.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to create robust testing strategies for new features.
- Contribute to the creation of a scalable test infrastructure that supports rapid development cycles.
- Perform exploratory testing and document test results for manual and automated test cases.
- Continuously improve test coverage and testing efficiency across our products.
- Act as a quality advocate within the development team, promoting best practices for testing and quality assurance.
