Senior Software QA Engineer

Venari security is looking for a creative and motivated Software QA Engineer to join our technology team to build a cutting-edge cyber security solution that helps customers prevent cyber-attacks using data analytics and machine learning.

Main Mission

Within the QA team organized in Agile mode, you will actively be involved in the implementation and the continuous improvement of the different QA standards and Policies . You will also ensure high quality software that brings performance, scalability and reliability to our Encrypted Traffic Analysis platform.

Specific responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the end to end QA process for engineering delivrables.
• Analyze project requirements and product objectives to create, maintain, and execute suite of test cases.
• Estimate test efforts, analyze and communicate test results, track defects and participate in a day-to-day QA activity.
• Manage the final quality on production release.

• Troubleshoot quality issues and modification of test procedures.

• Promote industry best practices for software quality assurance.
• Introduce and maintain test automation practices to achieve higher efficiency.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science.
• Proven work experience as a software QA Engineer (7+years).
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing life cycle along with tools and processes.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it.
• Experience with both frontend and backend testing.
• Hands on experience with test automation a plus.
• Familiar with both Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience in code repository and build management using Git.
• Experience in high quality software delivery with continuous refactoring, TDD, automated test suites and CI/CD.
• Detail oriented, high level analytical and problem solver.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, and listening skills with the ability to influence and lead others.
