The Senior Test Manager will be responsible for delivering all testing activities and services for our ERP transformation program, including the design and implementation of the test strategy. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Testing, this role will be responsible for leading all test planning and execution phases of the program, as well as providing governance of vendor testing deliverables to ensure the highest quality software is delivered to production. Stakeholder management will be a key part of this role to ensure that business and technology are in alignment with the test strategy and expectations throughout all phases of the program.
As a key member of the Enterprise Testing Leadership team, you will also contribute to the future state testing capability, providing valuable input to continuous improvement initiatives such as test automation, continuous testing, quality metrics and Agile testing.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
Strategy Development & Execution: Define and implement the test strategy for the program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, quality assurance standards, and customer expectations.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with external testing vendors, manage contracts, and ensure vendor-supplied solutions meet enterprise requirements. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in engineering/technology, operations, and business.
Shift Left Testing: Drive the adoption of "shift-left" testing principles, ensuring that automation is integrated early in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for faster feedback and early defect detection.
Governance & Best Practices: Establish governance for testing partners, create standards, guidelines, and best practices for testing across the organization, and ensure compliance across teams.
Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement in testing practices by evaluating emerging tools, processes and technologies, assessing their feasibility, and incorporating them into the testing ecosystem.
Mentoring & Training: Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members, cultivating a culture of knowledge-sharing and growth.

Experience
Experience managing test teams and programs of work
Test Maturity Uplift: Expertise enhancing test practice and maturity through strategic improvements
Methodologies: Strong background in both Waterfall and Agile, DevOps practices, and experience with Shift Left testing.
Vendor Management: Proven experience managing external vendors and coordinating cross-functional teams.
Experience with SAP/ERP: Exposure testing or leading testing of SAP/ERP projects
Emerging Technologies: Familiarity with new trends and technologies in the testing domain, including artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and test-driven development (TDD).
