Software Test Manager

The Business Unit Robotics develops, produces and distributes pipetting robots for the automation of liquid handling processes for a wide range of customers from the pharmaceutical and food industry, all the way to cell and DNA research.

Job Description:

In this position you will work in a Scrum team as part of a larger software project you will be responsible for organizing and performing and documenting software testing activities for our software that controls our laboratory automation systems.

Responsibilities:

• Organizing testing activities for the software tester of the scrum teams;

• Creating test plans and defining acceptance criteria;

• Performing manual tests on simulators and instruments;

• Developing automated tests using state-of-the-art tools and technologies;

• Monitoring automated tests in the build pipelines;

• Evaluating and documenting test results;

• Ensuring Epic and Feature acceptance criteria are testable;

• Checking compliance with quality specifications of our products before their release.

Professional experience & skills desired to have:

• You have at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technologies, or in a technical field and an ISTQB certification;

• Strong experience in manual and automated software testing;

• Experience as software test manager and with software quality assurance processes;

• Good technical understanding;

• Experience working in an Agile environment; 

• Experience with infrastructure like Azure DevOps, Git or similar;

• Experience with CI/CD from an automated software testing point of view; 

• Strong analytical and communication skills, precise, independent and structured way of working; 

• Working in our international environment requires at least C1 level in English.
