Software Tester

800 Storage is a fast-growing Storage provider that offers multiple solutions to both businesses
and individuals. Our mission is to leverage space capacities by providing a combination of space
with the latest technologies and customer service practices to manage it.
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Website/Software Application Tester to join our
dynamic team that will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our websites/software
applications through rigorous testing procedures and executing test cases, identifying defects, and
collaborating closely with developers to resolve issues.

What you’ll do:

● Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly assess our
websites/software applications.
● Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure the reliability
and stability of our websites and software products across different platforms and browsers.
● Document and report defects, issues, and anomalies encountered during testing using
designated bug tracking tools.
● Collaborate with software developers to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve identified
issues in a timely manner.
● Conduct usability testing to evaluate the user experience and interface of websites/software
applications.
● Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings to provide feedback on system
requirements and design specifications.
● Stay updated on industry best practices, testing methodologies, and emerging technologies
to continuously improve testing processes.
● Communicate test results and status updates to project stakeholders, including managers,
developers, and product owners.
● Contribute to the development and enhancement of automated testing frameworks and tools
to streamline testing processes.
● Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and
deliver high-quality websites and software products on schedule.

What you’ll need:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a
related field.
● Proven experience in website and software testing methodologies, including manual and
automated testing techniques.
● Proficiency in using test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, isolate, and troubleshoot issues effectively.
● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex
technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
● Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
● Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
● Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar is a plus.
● Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.
● Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP is a plus.
