Key Duties

    • Provide guidance on technical solutions and limitations to clients and your team throughout projects
    • Contribute testing estimates for agile stories and epics
    • Review Acceptance Criteria in user stories for testability
    • Carry out Functional, Regression, Exploratory, System, UI and E2E Testing across iOS, Android and Web platforms
    • Maintain project and story status via Jira
    • Create Acceptance Tests as per the Acceptance Criteria in stories
    • Execute test cases and report results
    • Communicate defects with Developers and UX Designers and work collaboratively through to resolution
    • Keep up to date with fast-changing trends
    • Raise and close defects when necessary, capturing these in Jira
    • Proactively raise project risks
    • Work within an agile team with strong collaboration with Product Owners, Developers and UX Designers to understand the requirements and effective test coverage and execution to support delivery of these requirements
    • Actively participate in project meetings, including kickoffs, inception workshops, standups,showcases, sprint retrospectives and sprint planning sessions
    • Actively contribute to the continued improvement of our testing standards
    • Work autonomously on multiple projects and be actively involved and feature curious
    • Set and maintain project priorities in coordination with Team Leads and Project Managers
    • Attend regular client meetings and provide value to clients through active meeting participation and provision of sound technical advice
    • Proactively contribute to the tech community through attending meetup groups, writing blog posts, sharing knowledge and speaking at events
    • Keep your technical skills and knowledge up to date through proactive self-learning
    • Live and breathe the CI&T values and help others to do the same
    • Be an active part of CI&T, attending Open Mics and Retrospectives, contributing to our continual improvement

What We’re Looking For:

    • Experience in manual and exploratory testing
    • Strong ability to write and execute test plans and manual test cases
    • Familiarity with at least one defect management tool
    • Proven experience in a professional services environment, building strong customer relationships
    • Ability to collaborate within a cross-product team
    • A proactive mindset with a desire to achieve the best outcomes for our clients
    • Friendly, professional, and self-motivated with a strong drive to learn
    • Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field (highly desirable)
