DescriptionThe Test Team requires an enthusiastic and versatile Software Tester to work within the Test Team. You will be working closely with the Software Development Team on leading-edge court reporting products, ensuring high-quality software through a combination of hands-on testing techniques and automation. The role requires a well-rounded approach to testing, applying manual techniques to ensure thorough validation and leveraging automation to improve efficiency where needed. You will be responsible for conducting exploratory and regression testing to cover edge cases as well as designing, developing and maintaining automation test scripts. Testing is predominantly Web UI with some API and more backend testing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Running Manual tests to ensure our products meet Functional as well as Non-Functional requirements.
- Execution and triage of automated test executions (Regression and Smoke Testing).
- Defect management.
- Maintaining suite of automated tests.
- Maintaining automation framework and implementing improvements.
- Documentation and analysis of automation framework.
- Working as part of development squad following the Scrum framework.
RequirementsPerson Specification
- Experience with Jira and Jira workflows.
- Project level implementation of QA and Test best practices.
- Qualified to ISTQB Foundation level.
- Experience in an Agile environment.
- Formal qualifications in Scrum or Agile desirable.
- Communication Skills - excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience of working as part of a team delivering solutions to customers, on multiple projects.
- Exposure to API Testing using Postman.
- Experience of testing cloud applications.
- Demonstrable experience in Test Automation.
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and get to grips with the current frameworks with ease.
- Strong programming skills with either JavaScript / TypeScript.
- Experience with version control e.g. GIT desirable.
