This role requires expertise in Salesforce testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and defect management to deliver high-performance Salesforce solutions.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our Salesforce applications by designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases. This role requires expertise in Salesforce testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and defect management to ensure the stability and performance of Salesforce solutions

Responsibilities:

Test Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and test cases for Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud.
• Ensure test cases cover functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Define test objectives, scope, and resources required for manual and automated testing.

Manual & Automated Testing:

• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing to validate Salesforce features.
• Develop automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, or TestNG.
• Validate Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages for expected behavior.
• Conduct API testing for Salesforce integrations using tools like Postman or SOAP UI.

Defect Management:

• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, TestRail, or qTest.
• Work closely with developers and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Maintain detailed records of test execution, issues, and improvements.

Data & Security Testing:

• Validate data integrity, security rules, and access controls within Salesforce.
• Ensure compliance with Salesforce security best practices and GDPR, CCPA, or other regulatory requirements.
• Perform SOQL-based data validation to check data consistency and accuracy.

Integration Testing:

• Validate third-party system integrations via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and Salesforce Connect.
• Ensure seamless integration with ERP, Marketing Cloud, and external databases.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Support:

• Work with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements.
• Assist with UAT execution and training to ensure business needs are met.
• Provide recommendations on improving test coverage and automation adoption.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

• Stay updated with Salesforce releases, automation trends, and QA best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, automation frameworks, and test coverage.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to test process improvements.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce testing, including functional and automation testing.
• Hands-on experience in testing Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud.
• Experience in testing Apex triggers, LWC, Visualforce pages, workflows, and process automation.

Technical Skills:

• Salesforce Testing Tools: Provar, Selenium WebDriver, Copado Robotic Testing.
• Test Management Tools: JIRA, TestRail, qTest, HP ALM.
• API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, SOAP UI.
• SOQL Queries: Ability to validate data using Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL).
• Automation Frameworks: Experience with TestNG, Cucumber, or JUnit is a plus.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Salesforce Certified Administrator (Highly Preferred).
• Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.
• ISTQB Certification in software testing is a plus.
