Test Engineer

The Job

• Execute automated tests on a daily cadence
• Analyze automated test results and enter product and test defects in JIRA
• Debug and fix any lab issues within defined SLA
• Provide Root Cause Analysis(RCA) for any lab issues
• Ensure all lab devices are up to date by performing OS upgrades and app upgrades when available
• Execute manual tests
• Analyze manual test results and enter product defects in JIRA
• Provide accurate defect submissions through internal process including impact to customer and information to assist with the defect investigation and resolution
• Ensure understanding of feature implementation to develop test cases for the functionality, performance, stress, and fault conditions
  
  

What skills you bring in

• Understanding of Networking, Switching and Linux/Server administration
• Understanding of Test Methodology & Test development (automation framework)
• Programming skills in Python or Shell Scripting is plus
• BTech or MTech (or equivalent) degree in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics
• Experience in Networking Test Framework and Manual Testing and Software testing in the Telecommunication Industry
