WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Total Systems Technologies Corporations is seeking a Test Engineer to support the Program Executive Office (PEO) Manpower, Logistics, and Business Solutions (MLB) which manages the Logistics (LOG) Information Technology (IT) portfolio. This portfolio is composed of 300+ afloat and ashore IT systems/applications with 150,000+ users across all Naval Systems Commands (SYSCOMs) and Naval Operational Forces (NOF) to include ships, carriers, submarines, USN/USMC aviation squadrons, and Naval Expeditionary Forces. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is a joint user of LOG IT capabilities and is part of the program requirements. LOG IT enables essential business operations for various capability groups.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Working with business analysts to provide identification and insight into Supply policies and processes.
    • Decomposing Naval Supply Requirements.
    • Providing in-depth knowledge of, and ability to troubleshoot issues within, complex information systems used to implement supply management systems utilized by the DON to manage Operational Supply activities.
    • Providing in-depth understanding of interface requirements and relationships with other Naval Supply automated information systems.
    • Providing in-depth knowledge of associated naval supply readiness as outline in the NAVSUP P485.
    • Author and maintain software test cases and procedures in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
    • Conduct test design activities to identify and create test cases(positive and negative) traceable to system requirements.
    • Conduct static and dynamic testing at all software testing levels to include integration, functional, system, and acceptance.
    • Accurately record and report defects found during test events and trace to resolution.
    • Work closely with stakeholders, sponsors, and customers to determine acceptance criteria and coordinate certification test events with end user

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
    • Must be able to qualify as a DoD Cybersecurity Workforce member and maintain a SECRET clearance.
    • Knowledge of testing business application and enterprise information systems.
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of Naval Supply policies and procedures.
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of Relational Supply, Barcode Supply and Integrated Barcode Supply. This knowledge must include the ability to identify and troubleshoot application and data driven anomalies causing failures.
    • Knowledge of naval Financial and Quality controls used by the Operational Forces.
    • Ability to capture test data, analyze test results and clearly communicate (orally and written) findings and/or deficiencies.
    • Ability to coordinate and Collaborate with members of a software development or systems engineering team to accomplish project team goals and objectives.

SECURITY CLEARANCE AND WHERE YOU'LL WORK

    • MUST have Current US DoD Interim OR Secret level clearance.
    • Work is currently remote with intermittent meetings on site. Must live within commutable distance to tidewater area.
