Job Description

As a Test Engineer at ALTEN, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans and procedures for software products and systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and quality assurance analysts, to ensure that products meet performance, functionality, and reliability requirements. Your responsibilities may include:

• Analyzing system requirements and creating test plans and strategies
• Designing and implementing automated and manual test cases
• Identifying and reporting defects and issues to development teams
• Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize and resolve defects
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement efforts
• Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and technologies.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?  

• You fulfil the general V.I.E program requirements  

• You are qualified in in M.Sc. or MEng in an Engineering discipline. Fluency in English is imperative. 

• Experience with simulation tools, such as Matlab/Simulink is required.  

• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies,

• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools is appreciated
