The Test Manager shall have fifteen yearsβ experience, of which at least ten years must beΒ specialized. Specialized experience includes leading system and/or software test teams, fullΒ lifecycle software deliveries from development to final software acceptance, process validation,Β computer system validation, and test method validation. General experience includes increasingΒ responsibilities in information systems design and/or management.
Test Manager shall have a Bachelorβs degree in computer science, information systems,Β engineering, business or other related IT or technical discipline. Test Manager who is certifiedΒ in program management by an accredited (ANSI/ISO/IEC) recognized institution, such as beingΒ certified Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management InstituteΒ (PMI). The Test Manager must be certified by the International Software Testing QualificationsΒ Board (ISTQB) or have an equivalent testing certification by another body.
The ideal candidate provides support to client internal programs and initiatives by assisting with ongoing tasks.
1. Facilitating project schedules, and offering detailed reporting. This support enables smooth programΒ management, continuous improvement, and adherence to best practices.Β
2. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Management: The project takes charge ofΒ overseeing all aspects of UAT for the applications within the client's testing portfolio. ThisΒ management entails resource allocation and meticulous planning, including scope andΒ requirement document reviews, to create comprehensive test plans and scripts.
3. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Execution: As part of their quality assurance activities,Β the contractor conducts various testing types, such as subject matter expert (SME) testing, automated testing, integration testing, regression (end-to-end) testing, andΒ smoke testing. Their thorough execution ensures the reliability and functionality of eachΒ system release or patch.
4. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Reporting: The ideal candidate diligently provides detailedΒ reports on all UAT activities. Utilizing dashboards and formalized testing reports, theyΒ offer comprehensive data and analysis to keep stakeholders informed throughout the testing process.
5. Post Deployment and Production Support: Beyond the UAT phase, the ideal candidateΒ remains actively involved in providing production support and coordination. TheyΒ engage in activities like monthly Coordinated Installations (CI), effectivelyΒ communicating with stakeholders, and proactively identifying potential risks to aidΒ leadership in decision-making.
