Responsibilities

  • Manage and conduct hands-on testing of autonomous driving systems on test vehicles in various environments and scenarios
  • Create detailed test plans based on system requirements, covering all aspects of functionality, performance, and safety
  • Monitor test activities, analyze data for potential risks, and provide detailed reports on findings and issues
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify optimal testing methods and address any system failures or issues
  • Compare real-world vehicle test results against simulations to ensure consistency and accuracy

Qualifications

  • BSc/MSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in creating and executing test plans for software and hardware systems
  • Proficiency with the Linux operating system
  • Familiarity with automotive systems (CAN, V2X, Sensors) and computer hardware
  • Strong proficiency in testing methods and tools, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent technical communication skills, both oral and written, in English
  • Experience with real-vehicle testing
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong interest in autonomous driving technology
  • Valid driving license

Preferences

  • Familiarity with C/C++
  • Experience with functional safety standards, particularly ISO 26262
  • Exposure to LiDAR and Camera sensors
