We are currently seeking a CCWIS Test Manager to join our team in Concord, New Hampshire (US-NH), United States (US).

The Test Manager will define and implement all IT testing practices and procedures. The Test Manager will oversee the process for all testing and evaluation of project initiatives and identify issues in software or services including but not limited to:

  • Ensure appropriate communication is maintained between the State and testing support team
  • Ensure that testing approaches and processes address all established requirements and demonstrate the ability of the system to meet the requirements
  • Ensure all requirements are accurately reflected in test planning and execution, and that traceability to requirements is maintained
  • Coordinate the on-going maintenance of the Requirements Traceability Matrix with test related data
  • Lead development of the UAT Plan
  • Lead development of a comprehensive set of UAT conditions and scripts/scenarios
  • Lead development and delivery of UAT training for the UAT Team
  • Review, track, and assist in the preparation and prioritization of defects, including documentation of errors and unexpected results
  • Monitor UAT progress including detailed analysis, tracking, and documentation of UAT metrics (e.g., number of tests successfully completed, the number of retests, and the total remaining test effort);
  • Identify, document, and assess test-related issues as well as support risk identification and mitigation in the UAT area; and
  • Review, assess, and make recommendations regarding UAT readiness and completion for implementation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an additional 4 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of IT Testing experience, preferably in the healthcare area.
  • Minimum of 5 years of large scale (multi-million dollar) test script and test plan experience with at least two years’ work experience specific to a CCWIS or other Case management system project

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall and other Testing Methodologies
  • Industry standard Testing Best Practices
  • Test Certifications
  • Business Analysis experience
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, CMM, CMMi and other industry standards
  • Experience using test automation tools like Rational Functional Tester
  • Set up testing environments
  • Familiar with SQL scripts and writing queries
  • Experience with IBM DB2
  • Defect/bug management and familiarity with defect management tools (Bugzilla, JIRA etc.)
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Familiarity with traceability matrix
  • Creating testing requirements from design documents, functional requirements etc.
  • Testing phases, testing entrance and exit criteria
  • Testing data creation and maintenance
  • Familiarity with development tools and development languages
  • Experience with managing multiple groups with multiple testers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and customer service skills
