(Senior) Radar Test Manager

As a Radar Test Manager within the System Engineering department you work in a multidisciplinary team on the system integration, verification and qualification  of  newly developed radar systems.

We are looking for a preferably younger colleague who is willing to grow in the role as a Senior Test Manager (or IVVQ Manager within Thales) for complex/high-end Radar systems.

About the job

Your initial task is to get acquainted with both the essential components of test management while participating as a technical team-member in the overall solution.

Your team consists of mainly System - and Test Engineers. Most of the team members are specialists in a certain domain (e.g. frontend RF behaviour, signal processing) and some of them are generalists.

We offer you a learning trajectory by active coaching on the job combined with specific training courses.

The main tasks in a nutshell:

• managing the technical solution, planning, cost and risk
• while keeping a warm heart for your team and other relations

About you

We are in search for a colleague who has the following qualifications:

• Master degree in preferably Electrical Engineering, Physics or related technical study
• Ambitious, open minded and willing to travel
• Affinity or some experience with project management, system-/test engineering  is a plus
• Good communication skills and able to work in multidisciplinary teams
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Dutch; proficient in German is a plus
