Infotainment platforms unit is responsible for developing, maintaining and deploying BMW infotainment platform. BMW infotainment platform is Linux (Yocto) based SW platform that provides common automotive functions used by multiple automotive ECUs. The unit is also responsible for cross-cutting concerns of the platform, like architecture, security, stability and performance. The platform is deployed into multiple infotainment domain ECUs, ranging from head units and rear seat entertainment systems to telematics and audio ECUs.

• You are responsible for leading all testing activities for Network domain for several ECU projects.
• Creation of test strategy (including pre-integration/post-integration, Test Cases Selection strategy), Test Ramp up Plan, Review of Test Cases and Test Results are part of your job.
• The definition and alignment of all test instances on a complete and correct set of test configurations in Hardware and Software are part of your job.
• You manage the contracted test house(s) that are tasked with test case implementation, test case execution (automated as well as manual) and defect entry for failed test results.
• You will be responsible for Software integration test, Software qualification test, System integration test & System Validation for Network domain.
• Leads test operations, monitor (via a set of meaningful KPIs) and defines required counter measures, thus improving the test workflow performance.
• Responsible for a transparent reporting on the current status and present it to all required stakeholders.
• You are responsible for continuously evaluating test coverage and test quality for Network domain and driving improvement actions to address testing gaps and optimize test performance

• Business fluent English
• University degree in computer science or a comparable field of study, ideally with a security focus

• Several years of hands-on experience in validation of commercial complex software products.
• Strong mindset for quality delivery and driven by understanding the inner working of systems.
• Knowledge of head unit platform functionalities and automotive software development processes.
• Strong knowledge of Ethernet, SomeIP, CAN nPDU, MacSec, IPSec, Firewall etc
• Strong knowledge of Linux from testing point of view.
• Track record in leading team of testers and/or contractors.
• Experience in Testing frameworks, Requirement Management tool and Defect Management.
• ISTQB Certified Test Manager – nice to have
• ASPICE knowledge - nice to have
