Principle duties and essential functions
As a Junior System Integration Test Engineer you will design and develop system integration tests for Adtran’s NMS product line:
Mosaic Network Controller – a single management platform for advanced management of optical, Ethernet and sync networks used by many telecom companies across the world and it is developed mainly in JAVA and JS (Web UI).
We are using TeamCity, Intellij IDEA, VMware, PyCharm and QF-Test in everyday work.
Other tasks and responsibilities
Work together in MNC WebApps team delivering iteratively high quality software.
NMS server installation & upgrades, Fiber monitoring (ALM).
Software upgrade and network elements configuration backup frameworks.
High availability solution support.
Internal platform applications.
Design and execute functional and non-functional tests; find right balance between manual or automated tests execution.
Documentation and tracking of defects in the test/development management system.
Knowledge, skills and experience required
Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication or similar.
Good written and spoken English.
Desire and ability to gain new knowledge.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, teamwork oriented and well organized.
Experience in software testing methodologies.
Knowledge of docker/kubernetes - a plus.
Experience in scripting languages, preferably Python.
Experience in usage of Linux OS (scripting, packets installation, etc.), ideally RHEL/CentOS/Alma Linux/Rocky Linux.
