Job Description

Position: Lead Test Engineer

Location: Querétaro, MEX, Mexico

Type: Onsite Full Time Position

Tools: Vector CANoe, Vector Test Studio, Vector CANAlyzer.

The Software V&V engineer follows the direction of the lead software V&V engineer, prioritizes his/her tasks based on the project’s schedule and provides accurate and timely input about his/her progress. He / She uses his/her knowledge, skills and creativity to create test cases that cover, as much as possible, all the different scenarios that could cause a failure on the system based on the product specifications.

Primary Skills:

Tools: Vector CANoe, Vector Test Studio, Vector CANAlyzer.

3+ Years of experience in software development (embedded software preferred). And at least 1 year of experience in software testing activities and GMLAN a plus.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor degree on computer engineering, software engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent career

No special certification is required. However, the following knowledge is highly desirable:

- Automotive Communication Protocols: CAN and LIN (Ethernet is a plus)

- Automotive Diagnostics (KWP2000, OBD , or OEM specific implementations)
