We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a solid understanding of manufacturing test engineering, to shape the future of optical data transmission. You will be part of an international test development team, embedded in a worldwide Optical Research and Development organization. Your main responsibilities are developing automated manufacturing test solutions and providing technical support to our manufacturing partners.
Responsibilities
- Define test strategy, design and deploy cost-effective, automated test solutions for manufacturing
- Optimize test solutions for efficiency, test cost and yield through product end of live
- Monitor production data, diagnose process variations, troubleshoot test stations
- Provide technical support to manufacturing partners and assist with product failure analysis and troubleshooting
- Technical interface between R&D labs, manufacturing partners and Nokia Supply Chain
- Support administrative tasks such as asset management, order management, formal audits

QualificationsYou have/are:
- A BS or MS degree in Electrical or Software Engineering or equivalent technical experience
- A strong team player with good analog and digital hardware background
- Autonomously managing and tracking your projects across functional teams
- Availability for international travel

It would be nice if you also had:
- 3+ years of manufacturing test programming and automation experience
- Knowledge in optical technologies and assemblies
- Knowledge in debug, root cause analysis and manufacturing data analysis (e.g. 3-sigma)
- Experience with NI Test Stand / Lab View, Visual Studio / Visual Basic, Phyton, TCL or C#
- Hands-on experience with optical measurement instruments
- Good understanding of Supply Chain processes
