Job Summary:
Semtechβs Signal Integrity Products (SIP) group designs and manufactures high performance mixed-signal integrated circuits for the worldβs leading data and video communication companies to enable their next-generation products. Primary Responsibilities:
Design and lead the manufacture of high performing test hardware solutions (includes PCB, cabling, fixtures, interfaces, etc.), for new products to be tested on various tester platforms at package and/or wafer level.Β
Participate in new product design meetings to drive testability features into new IC designs.
Collaborate with Product & Test Engineering to ensure test hardware solutions align with test coverage plan.
Hold test hardware planning and review meetings with key stakeholders on project teams.
Conduct performance analysis that closes the loop on the hardware design, ensuring continuous hardware performance improvements.
Ensure developed test hardware solutions survive the rigors of full production testing at our OSATsΒ
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelorβs degree in electrical engineering or similar discipline with 10+ years of experience
Experience in test/evaluation hardware developments targeting ATE and/or rack & stack test systems
Experience in schematic level design using industry standard software packages
Experience in collaboration with external PCB design and manufacturing services, providing direction and feedback
