QA Analyst 3-ProdDev

Description


Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

As a part of Quality Assurance team, following responsibilities should be exhibited

• Design, install, and evaluate quality control methods and systems.
• Design continuing maintenance of product quality.
• Develop professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
• Display understanding of roles, processes, and procedures.
• Preform moderately complex problems solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes.
• Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for requirement validation, regression, performance, security, accessibility and compliance testing.
• Develop quality assurance standards and track quality assurance activities
• Learn and apply project high-level and detailed business requirements
• Draft test artifacts, including Test Plans, Business Test Scenarios and Requirements Traceability Matrices
• Create, maintain and execute reusable UI, API automation scripts (using various automation tools like Selenium, Postman, SoapUI, Rest Assured, Karate framework) for test validation.
• Implementation and understanding of DevOps concepts and best practices to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery model.
• Document test results and assist with defect management
• Produce status reports related to the testing process, including test results and defect tracking
• Perform analysis related to enhancements to applications
