What You’ll Do:
Test Planning and Execution
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (developers, product managers, designers) to ensure full coverage in test planning.
- Execute test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure product quality.
Bug Reporting
- Identify, document, and track defects using the bug tracking system (e.g., Redmine).
- Reproduce reported issues and provide clear, detailed steps for engineers to resolve them.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and recommend improvements to development processes.
Collaboration and Communication
- Actively engage in scrum and planning meetings (scrum, technical planning, retrospectives) to contribute QA perspectives and insights.
- Stay informed about new testing tools, methodologies, and strategies to enhance testing practices.
Automation and API Testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for regression and functional testing using tools such as Selenium or Katalon.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar platforms.
What We're Looking For:
- 3-5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
- Extensive experience working in software development teams and applying QA methodologies and tools.
- Proven ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Katalon, Selenium, or similar, to manage and maintain automated test suites.
- Additional experience in performance, API, and security testing is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
