QA Analyst


About the RoleΒ 

Vimly is looking for a QA Analyst that is passionate about their work and enjoys working within a team environment. This position will work closely within a scrum team and ensure the quality of software products.Β  As the QA Analyst you will have an important role in designing, developing, and implementing testing systems and evaluating output.Β Β Β 

This position is fast paced and ever changing, requiring flexibility, self-initiative, and regular management of changing priorities.Β Β 

Job Responsibilities:Β 

  • Write, implement, document, and execute test cases to identify bugs and incomplete requirements.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to evaluate robustness and functionality of products.
  • Work in a self-managed environment; Own features and bugs you are assigned to test
  • Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers and project managers.
  • Ability to write, test and document efficient testing solutions.
  • Write UI or API automation for new features and maintain existing automation scripts. Work with SDETs to update and improve automation frameworks. Β 
  • Monitor bug resolution efforts, track successes as well as where improvements are needed.
  • Help identify areas where QA processes and procedures can be improved. Work with the QA Manager to implement improvements.
  • Insert quality components throughout the development lifecycle, including quality acceptance, stress, load, regression and/or integration testing.
  • Participate in the development of requirements and estimating effort for feature work items with Product Owners and Developers.
  • Participate in releasing all the great features you worked on into a production environment. Β 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of QA experience.
  • Experience writing automation using Selenium, JEST, and Typescript.
  • Experience testing web services with Postman or similar tool.
  • Knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of quality assurance testing and the ability to apply knowledge and skills to a range of professional assignments.Β 



What We OfferΒ 

Hourly rate: $28.85 - $33.65. This role is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay. Eligible for annual bonus earning up to 10% of annual salary. Actual compensation offered may vary depending upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Β
