Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Quality System Management
Responsible in implementing and maintaining the over-all quality system management procedures, systems & infrastructure, processes related to manufacturing, support and development processes. Responsible in implementing quality objectives and key performance metrics to demonstrate commitment to Quality, and generate action plans for targets not meeting the requirement. Responsible in implementing effective documentation and change management system at LEPI such as Document Change, Engineering Change, Material Review Board (MRB), Quality Review Board (QRB), Quality Assessment Tool (QAT), Cost of Quality (COQ) etc.
Incoming, Process and Quality Assurance
Responsible in implementing process & quality controls through statistical process controls (SPC), developing sampling inspection techniques for first article inspection, incoming quality and outgoing quality inspections. Develop quality control plans and preventive tools such as FMEA and PVC to pro-actively addressed potential issues and non conformances in the process. Ensure that calibration system is monitored and compliant to the procedure. Responsible in ensuring that 7 Quality Tools are being practiced to analyze problems. Responsible in managing supplier material quality issues through issuance of SCAR to ensure material quality is being monitored, and improvement from supplier is being tracked.
Internal and External Audits
Responsible in handing and managing internal and external audits (Corporate Audit, ISO Audit, Customer Audit). Responsible in ensuring compliance to the standard requirement and non conformances arising from these audits are addressed through CAPA. Responsible in addressing Observations and Opportunity for Improvements, Risk and Opportunities as well to demonstrate commitment to continual improvement. Responsible in driving continual improvement activities.
Customer Focus
Responsible in driving customer focus / driven activities to improve customer satisfaction, customer dppm and RMA. Drive closure of customer 8D timely and ensure cycle time of closure is observed religiously and effectiveness is checked. Responsible in ensuring that 24-hr immediate containment action is performed when there is customer complaint. Β Responsible in maintaining material specs and drawings are aligned with the customer.
Continual Improvement
Responsible in driving continual improvement activities such as Bright Ideas, EECIP, COQ Cost savings and other activities that will drive continual improvement, bring tangible and intangible improvements in the company
