What’s the position?

We’re looking for a QA Manager - Sportsbook to lead, inspire, and elevate our quality assurance function across multiple teams and projects. This is a unique opportunity to influence product excellence at scale, while building a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading and nurturing a high-performing QA team β€” guiding both manual and automation testers while fostering a collaborative and accountable culture

  • Owning and evolving the QA strategy, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with broader product and business objectives across diverse projects

  • Optimising resource allocation by strategically deploying QA talent where it matters most, while maintaining strong connections between the team and key stakeholders

  • Ensuring robust test coverage β€” overseeing regression, functional, and integration testing, and upholding the consistency, depth, and reliability of our quality checks

  • Identifying potential risks in the QA process and developing mitigation strategies to ensure product quality and reliability

  • Acting as a unifying QA force across initiatives, coordinating efforts, sharing knowledge, and reallocating support where gaps or challenges arise

  • Partnering with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and Team Leads to clarify requirements, uncover potential risks or dependencies, and co-create sound delivery plans

  • Continuously refining QA processes to meet the demands of evolving projects, technologies, and user expectations

  • Conducting regular 1:1s and providing thoughtful, actionable feedback that supports growth, motivation, and engagement within the team

  • Championing modern tools, methodologies, and QA best practices to enhance test automation, increase efficiency, and drive product excellence

  • Organising training sessions and workshops to keep the QA team updated with the latest industry trends and tools

  • Monitoring key quality metrics and consistently reporting on QA status, insights, and improvements to stakeholders and leadership

Job requirements

What we’re looking for?

  • Extensive experience in a QA leadership role (5–7 years), preferably in Agile, fast-paced environments with distributed teams

  • Proven ability to lead and develop diverse QA teams, inspiring both individual ownership and collective collaboration

  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities, maintaining a flexible approach to QA processes.

  • Deep expertise in both manual and automated testing β€” from strategy to execution β€” with hands-on familiarity with modern testing frameworks and tools

  • A strategic mindset paired with technical fluency β€” someone who can think big picture but isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed

  • Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted testing, intelligent automation, or leveraging machine learning to improve QA practices is a big plus

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills β€” empathetic, clear, and capable of building strong relationships across technical and non-technical teams

  • Familiarity with the online gambling, sports betting, or iGaming industry is a strong advantage β€” understanding regulatory requirements, risk profiles, and user expectations in this space is highly valuable
