This position supports the Missile Systems Integrated Product Team All-Up-Round Deputy Assistant Program Manager for Test and Evaluation (APMTE). Β The primary responsibilities of the position will be to execute Lead Test Engineer duties in support of the Β Joint Multi-Effects Warhead System (JMEWS) ACAT III program and M-Code ACAT II program. Β Duties include working with program teams to develop strategies and plans for requirements verification, provide leadership to coordinate test and evaluation of weapons system, and support the APMTE for integrated weapons systems test events.Β
Responsibilities include working with a cross functional team and prime contractor to develop test strategies that align with program goals and constraints to verify requirements. Review test plans and procedures. Support the preparation and execution of technical reviews as well as flight test readiness reviews. Coordinate test events to include test asset preparations. Monitor and report on team test status/execution. Support the development and review of acquisition and technical documentation. Analyze prime contractor proposals. Excellent organizational, collaboration, and communication skills are required. This position duty station is at Patuxent River, MD.
