Description


Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

Skills required:

Should have Β BTech or post graduation degree.

3 to 5 years of experience in software industry.

Should have developed test plans/Test cases.

Should have involved in various testing cycles.

Should know the quality procedures and standards.

Should have worked on automation tools like Selenium

Should have experience in Perl, Python and Shell Scripting

Experience in Java/Java script is added advantage

Experience in JUnit and/or NUnit,XML Parsing is added advantage .

Should have knowledge or experience in PL/SQL

Should have good communication skills, both verbal and written

SCM domain knowledge especially Transportation Management Β is added advantage.

Knowledge or working experience in Agile methodology is added advantage.

Should have excellent Problem solving skills with abilities in analysis, problem identification and resolution.

Scope of work:

Should involve in certification testing of the releases.


Should develop automation scripts using Selenium.


Should execute manual regression tests during cloud releases.
