We are currently looking for a highly motivated Senior System Integration Test Engineer (M/F/D) to join our R&D team in Berlin. The Senior System Integration Test Engineer is responsible for leading the regression and integration tests for L1/L2 network devices with strong cryptography.
Principle duties and essential functions
Test Planning and Case Design: Create test plans and develop detailed test cases to ensure automated comprehensive system integration coverage for L1 and L2 network devices with strong cryptography.
Test Environment Setup and Execution: Configure, maintain, and execute integration tests.
Defect Identification and Documentation: Detect, log, and document bugs or issues, collaborating with developers to resolve integration problems.
Automation and Regression Testing: Implement test automation and perform regression testing to ensure ongoing functionality during development cycles.
Reporting and Documentation: Provide test reports and maintain detailed documentation of test cases, results, and system behavior throughout the integration process.
Knowledge Center: Be a department and possibly company expert for one or more products or features.
Knowledge, skills and experience required
5+ years of experience in system integration testing.
Experience with automated testing tools (Robot Framework or similar).
Knowledge of optical networking and/or Layer 2 (Ethernet) technologies.
Knowledge in cryptography (symmetric ciphers, key exchange, authentication).
Experience with version control systems (git) and DevOps principles (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Previous experience with Linux and encryption solutions (OpenSSL, β¦).
Capable of working independently on the assigned design activities with minimal supervision.
Collaborative and good communication skills.
