DescriptionIn this role you will support theย Firmwide Business Resiliency Team [FBRT]ย mission is to provide a comprehensive data driven and risk-based business resiliency program with an enhanced focus on Essential Services, supported by a robust firmwide internal/external engagement and governance framework. Within FBRT, this role will allow you the opportunity to be apart of the Application & Tool Support Team that provides L1 support, performing User Acceptance Testing and Release Management for Enterprise Resiliency Management & Analytics [ERMA] system.
Asย a Software &ย Data Test Engineer Associate in theย Data & Resiliency Testing team your main priority will be software, product, andย data oriented testing. This includes development & execution of Release level test strategies,ย data test automation, and quality improvement initiatives for ERMA (Enterprise Resiliency Management Analytics) product and its Data Warehouse. If you are an individual with an interest and passion to dive deep into ourย complex resiliency application, and develop innovative solutions that validate business rules, complex calculations, and prove data integrity for UI and reporting features within ERMA, then this is the role for you!ย
Job Responsibilities
- Develop Release level test strategies and detailed test plans to validate data integrity for system of record data within ERMA and data presented in the UI and reports
- Develop & Execute tests to validate new product features
- Execute plans during release testing in advance of User UAT to detect & report defects in a timely manner for resolution prior to release
- Partner with developers & users to understand newly developed functionality so that you can test each new feature & help communicate to users how the produce works with each new release
- Partner with developers and data management team to fully understand the ERMA data model, data structures, and usage
- Create and use SQL to pull data as needed to validate data usage within the application
- Use data tools such as Alteryx to execute independent data validations
- Application testing/validation support โ on need basis
- Be a strong team player and support the team in delivering the tasks accurately and timely manner.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 3+ years of relevant experience inย software testing methodologies
- 3+ years of relevant experience in data management and analytics
- Operational understanding of BDD and TDD principles
- Demonstrable skills in Data Management including, but limited to Data Mining, Extract, ETL, and related disciplines
- Advanced skills in Data Automation & Management ย tools like Alteryx; Ability to write & interpret SQL
- Strong JIRA skills including understanding & writing JQL statements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to converse with both Technical and Business Partners in Technical or Business terms as needed
- Strong organizational, documentation, and multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to manage expectations and deliver results
