IDEALFORCE has multiple CONTRACT positions available immediately for a Software Test Engineers to join our customer in Austin, TX. This is an ONSITE position. The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive suites of automation test plans and test cases, maintaining and adding to existing automation framework, continued evaluation of test cases for inclusion in regression, automation for newly integrated features, and development of toolsets to augment QA and Development testing. The SDET will also work closely with Software Developers and other QA engineers in small scrum teams to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.Â
Specific duties and responsibilities include creating, maintaining and executing test plans and test cases against our hardware and software platforms, estimating test efforts, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day to day QA Activities. Add to performance and scalability testing efforts. This can also include the writing of specialized testing tools for use in testing our software platform.
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases against our hardware and software platformsÂ

• Participate in day-to-day QA activitiesÂ
• Enhance and extend the automation library and frameworkÂ
• Add to performance and scalability testing effortsÂ
• Write specialized testing tools for use in testing our software platformÂ
• 4-6 years of experience (minimum) in Microsoft Technologies is desiredÂ
• Experience in SQL, WCF, ASP.NET, C#, or Java will be required.Â
• Scripting knowledge of Javascript, Jquery, and Powershell desiredÂ
• Demonstrated skill in testing enterprise distributed systems is strongly desiredÂ
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to root cause complex issues requiredÂ
• Demonstrated skill using code repositories, preferably Microsoft TFSÂ
• Knowledge of Microsoft plug-in tools, such as Selenium and othersÂ
• Knowledge of performance and scalability test approaches and automationÂ
• Passion for finding bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code through the use of automation toolsÂ
• Passion for creating and executing test plansÂ
• Passion for continuing education and improving code quality through interaction with development teamÂ
• Demonstrated skill in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviewsÂ
• Strong time management skills with a history of meeting commitmentsÂ
• Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
Must Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fieldÂ
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Microsoft Technologies
(Automation Testing background using Selenium

Strong integration testing experience using WCF, Resful API, C#, SQL Server.)
