Job title: Software Engineer, Test Engineering
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in automation testing using UFT (Unified Functional Testing). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using UFT.
• Execute automated test cases, analyze test results, and report defects.
• Collaborate with developers, system engineering, and QA teams to define test automation requirements.
• Develop and enhance automation frameworks to improve efficiency and test coverage.
• Perform data-driven and keyword-driven testing using UFT.
• Implement and maintain VBScript-based test automation frameworks.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure software stability after changes.
• Identify and implement best practices for automation testing
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in UFT (Unified Functional Testing).
• Proficiency in VBScript for test automation scripting.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-Driven, and Keyword-Driven).
• Understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in integrating UFT scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of SQL for database validation in test automation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
