OVERVIEW OF THE TEAM

We are a bunch of people who are passionate about the quality of our product.  We are always looking for ways to improve our testing approach and moving towards a more Agile approach. 

Joining us as a software tester, you'll be involved in the quality assurance stage of our KX Flow software development and deployment. You'll conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software is fit for purpose and any bugs or issues are removed within a product before it gets deployed to everyday users.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

• Strong background in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar discipline
• Ideally 2/3 years’ experience as a software tester
• Good working knowledge of SQL/UNIX
• Ability to learn, introduce and improve new and existing test practice and process
• Ability to communicate with team lead and team members
• Strong focus on customer experience and product quality
• Experience in automation an advantage
• Exposure to unit testing also an advantage.
• Strong in maths a must. 

DESIRABLE:

• Experience within the financial sector an advantage. 
• Knowledge or experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies in software development

This role will be based in Belfast or Newy
