The Position:
Weโre seeking a proactive SQA Analyst with experience working in an Agile environment. We want your ideas, your creativity, your innovation, and your teamwork to help us achieve the journey we put forward with our employees. Working within an agile framework, you will be translating business requirements into solid testing strategies to help the team deliver a quality product.
The selected individual will work in the Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the onshore R&D team.
Job Responsibilities:
โข Analyzing business requirements and conducting thorough impact analysis.
โข Designing solid test plans that cover potential dependencies and execute test cases.
โข Investigating UAT tickets and executing testing of fixed bugs.
โข Participating in solution definition and user story refinement sessions with the Scrum team.
โข Identifying defects and follow-upping through the defectโs lifecycle.
โข Performing end-to-end testing, including back-end testing.
โข Facilitating client demos of functional enhancements made to the product.
โข Creating automation scripts that translate manual test cases into automated tests.
โข Conducting regression of patches, hotfixes, and releases.
โข Performing data conversion testing.
โข Contributing to Abilisโ mission of continuous improvement by raising ideas for process improvement.
Required Skills:
โข 3-5 years of experience in Manual testing of web applications.
โข Demonstrated ability to successfully plan and execute effective end-to-end product testing.
โข Experience with SQL queries and understanding of relational databases.
โข Great time management skills.
โข Experience with API Testing.
โข Experience working in an Agile environment.
โข Excellent oral and written communication as well as interpersonal skills.
โข Experience writing automation scripts using Robot Framework (Python knowledge is an asset).
โข Knowledge of industry best practices.
โข Adept at extracting information from written materials and identifying the action to be taken.
โข Exceptional multi-tasking skills and ability to proactively support requests and ensure follow-up to completion.
โข A bachelorโs degree in computer science or appropriate technical degree or equivalent work experience.
