Sr.Β SDET/Quality EngineerΒ
Job Overview:
Stratfield Consulting is seeking a Sr. SDET/Quality Engineer to join our Software Engineering practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience implementing automation frameworks and partnering with engineering to prevent defects from leaking into production. Communication/collaboration will be key in this role, as well as strong API testing experience.
This is a long-term contract position that will be remote. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and testing needs.
Enhance existing automation frameworks and design new frameworks as required.
Perform front-end and APIΒ testing, using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium.
Contribute to continuous improvement of Agile testing practices within the team.
Qualifications:
Bachelorβs Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
7+ years of experience in software testing and automation engineering.
Expertise inΒ automation testing using tools such as Cypress (preferred), Selenium, and Playwright.
Proficiency in creating and maintaining test frameworks and scripts.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
