Software Tester - Automation, Performance, and Security
Location: Baner, Pune
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Tester with expertise in automation, performance, and security testing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ensuring software quality and reliability, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
Automation Testing:
? Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
? Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
? Identify and implement opportunities for automation within the testing process.
Performance Testing:
? Design and execute performance test plans and scenarios using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.
? Analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
? Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance.
? General Testing:
? Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
? Report, track, and verify defects.
? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree (12 + 4) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
? Proven experience in software testing, with a focus on automation, performance.
? Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
? Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
? Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
