Duration: 12-month co-op student term from May 2025 to May 2026.Β 

Location: Arlo Office, Canada

Arlo is looking for a top student with strong interest in product testing a complex product that includes multiple clients, embedded firmware, and cloud storage.Β  The Software Test team is responsible for validation and quality assurance of new products, new technologies, and new features.Β

State-of-the-art IP cameras and home automation productsΒ 

Standard test methodology and techniquesΒ 

Commercial product development life cycleΒ

Responsibilities:Β 

Execute manual and automated tests based on customer requirementsΒ 

Write clear bug reports for any software defects discovered during testingΒ 

Assist development teams with troubleshooting customer or field issuesΒ 

Analyze software defects and verify bug fixesΒ 

Develop and maintain automated test toolsΒ 

Create test plans and write test reportsΒ

Job Requirements:Β 

Attention to detail and technical curiosityΒ 

Experience in executing moderate to complex test casesΒ 

Strong written and oral communication skillsΒ 

Software test development, programming, or scripting experienceΒ 

Knowledge of data communication, networking, and protocolsΒ 

Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environmentΒ

The pay range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at commencement of employment and is expected to be between CAD$3,700 - $4,300/month.Β  However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience.
