Test Engineer/Sr.Test Engineer

Job Purpose

The Senior Automation Test Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality,
reliability, and efficiency of software products through the design, development, and
execution of automated test solutions. They are responsible for creating and maintaining
automated test frameworks, identifying and resolving software defects, and driving
continuous improvements in testing practices to support agile development cycles.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications
   (Android/iOS) using Selenium with Java.
   2. Perform performance testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner to
   validate application scalability.
   3. Execute API testing using tools like Postman to ensure proper system
   communication and integration.
   4. Write and execute database queries to validate backend data integrity and support
   testing efforts.
   5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and
   design effective testing strategies.
   6. Identify, document, and track bugs and system issues through their lifecycle.
   7. Continuously enhance test automation frameworks and processes.
   8. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the quality assurance process.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the verification team
• Proficiency in Selenium with Java for web and mobile testing.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Strong API testing skills using Postman.
• Proficiency in writing database queries.

Familiarity with manual testing practices and principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of the Healthcare domain is preferred.

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Software
Engineering, or Equivalent. MS or PhD in such technical fields very desirable
