Test Engineer (TS/SCI CI Poly Clearance Required)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance and experience in test automation. The Test Engineer will play a crucial role in a program focused on providing critical capabilities to enable efficient and timely GEOINT collection management across multiple collection providers. The program operates on multiple security levels and utilizes FOSS/COTS software/hardware with a custom-built application to achieve mission objectives. Emphasizing DevSecOps and Agile methodologies, the program aims for effective communication, collaboration, integration, automation, and operational stability.
Responsibilities:
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and developing test automation scripts in adherence to established guidelines.
- Utilizing automated tools to support application testing across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Writing code to interact with the application simulator, application, and other test tools.
- Evaluating functional and non-functional requirements for testability and suitability for automation.
- Conducting test execution in a classified environment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborating with an established test team on a medium to large-scale development program.
- Applying your domain knowledge of the Intelligence Community (IC) to ensure effective testing.
- Demonstrating excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience as a test automation engineer, with proficiency in tools such as TestComplete, Java, SQL, Selenium JavaScript, and Jenkins.
- Prior experience working on medium to large-scale development programs with a focus on test automation.
- Familiarity with the Intelligence Community (IC) and its systems.
- Ability to perform test execution in a classified environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior domain knowledge related to the GEOINT Information Management Services (GIMS) system and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
- Understanding of the interaction of other IC systems that interface with GIMS.
- Previous software development and/or system engineering experience.
- Familiarity with git for version control.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools and visualizations.
- Ability to conduct demonstrations for both internal (program) and external (customer) audiences.
- Experience in working on Agile programs.
