Job Description

In this role, you will test and validate photonics integrated circuits and components from chip level to module level. This position will be looking for someone who can develop a comprehensive test plan, implement reliable performance tests, and analyze test data for device and product development.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain testing methodologies and routines
• Plan all the tests in discussion with device and system engineers
• Perform optical characterization of integrated photonic devices
• Analyze test data and report test results

Qualifications

You should have the following skills/qualities/experiences:

• BS or above a relevant technical field (Optics, Electrical, Physics, Biomedical, Mechanical, or similar)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in integrated photonics chip testing and test platforms for photonics components such as lasers, detectors, and photonic integrated circuits (PIC)
• Proficiency in MATLAB, python, or LabVIEW. Having experience in automating test and analysis
• Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications, drawings, and technical analyses
• Industry experience creating detailed test documentation (plans, protocols, reports)
